Parent Resources

As a parent, I have a hard time finding information from knowledgeable sources. It takes a long time and I may or may not find something useful. Google can be difficult to sift through and if you have ADHD like I do, every click is another opportunity to get side tracked from what I was originally looking for!

When you have a new baby, you don’t have time to watch 10 videos and determine which one is the most accurate…so I put those videos together for you. Looking for a few great latch videos? Check the list. Want to listen to podcast about bedsharing do’s and don'ts? Check the list. Need to know which Instagram accounts to follow? Check the list.

I put all of my favorite resources in one place so you can check the list, find what you need, and start learning right away from a knowledgeable professional.

Lactation Preparation Course

This “course” isn’t much of a course….it’s more of a support system guide for your fourth trimester. There are 3 parts to the course.

  1. Roadmap to your 4th Trimester

    • Goal setting for feeding your baby

    • Mindfulness worksheet for you and your partner (because having a baby is stressful!)

    • Info on anxiety and depression

  2. Resource lists

    • Lists of the most common digital places I send parents for info

    • 5 lists of reputable resources organized by media type—books, podcasts, social media, websites & videos

    • Coming soon: list of children’s books about lactation or depict breastfeeding

    • Updated and available to you as I find new sources

  3. Helping Hands DIY fridge magnet

    • Have visitors coming over but don’t know how to ask them to help out around the house?

    • Want to give your postpartum doula some ideas of how to help your family?

    • This download is a polite way of asking for help from friends and family

The Roadmap feels a little like being in school but planning for your 4th Trimester is invaluable. After you have a baby your brain enters survival mode which makes it really difficult to remember long term goals. If you write down your goals, steps to reach those goals, and discuss them with your partner/family/friends, you’re much more likely to achieve those goals and have positive memories about how you feed your baby.

After you buy this course, you will have access to it for 1 year after purchasing. Because it is a digital download, purchases cannot be refunded.

A La Carte

Some parts of the Lactation Preparation Course are available to buy separately from the full course (although buying the whole thing is a better deal). Feel free to pick and choose which parts appeal to you the most and buy just those things.
