Who

An International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) helping your family with breastfeeding / chest feeding or bottle feeding

Should any health concerns arise during an appointment, Lisa’s training and licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) allows her to assess further.

Nurses can perform a full physical assessment and gather more data (listen to lungs, check vital signs, assess bleeding and incisions) to report back to the primary care provider(s).

What

We support families navigating the challenges of feeding their baby — whether at the breast, chest, or bottle. From sore nipples and poor weight gain to extreme fussiness and skin concerns, we're here to investigate, support, and guide. We also offer prenatal education to help families feel prepared and confident long before baby arrives.

Where

We offer both in-home and office visits to best suit your needs.

When we come to you, we can help identify which of your chairs, pillows, and positions work best in your space. Learning a new skill — or working through a rusty one — is so much easier when you're in a familiar environment. It makes a world of difference for your confidence and peace of mind.

Prefer to come to us? Office visits are also available and save you the travel fee.

When

The best time for a lactation consult is before you need one. Many lactation/feeding problems can be avoided or minimized with prenatal education.

If you have questions or concerns about breastfeeding, chest feeding, pumping, bottle feeding, or general baby behavior, a consultation can significantly reduce your anxiety and the sooner the better!

It’s much easier to avoid problems than fix problems.

Why

To give you the skills and knowledge you need to meet your feeding goals.

To help you optimize your baby’s feeding technique.

To support you in your feeding journey and to help you have a positive experience.
